The YADES project actively participated in the 2nd Urban Health Cluster Annual Meeting, held on June 8-9, 2023, at Palazzo Hercolani in Bologna, Italy. Representing the project, Charalampos Zafeiropoulos delivered an insightful presentation during the parallel session WG 4: Urban issues and epidemics, where he shared critical findings and methodologies developed within the YADES framework. His contribution underscored the importance of leveraging innovative algorithms and modeling tools to address the intersection of urban health challenges and epidemic management. The meeting, which brought together representatives from multiple Horizon Europe projects under the Urban Health Cluster initiative, provided a platform for cross-collaboration, knowledge sharing, and aligning research priorities to enhance urban health policies and interventions across Europe. By engaging in discussions and contributing expertise, YADES reaffirmed its commitment to improving urban resilience and addressing the health impacts of climate change and other urban challenges.
